I am a qualified Speech Pathologist and Allied Health Manager with 10 years’ experience managing people, projects, and teams in private practice, not for profit organisations and the government sector.
I have extensive experience working with the NDIS during trial phases in ACT, NSW and Tasmania so I understand the complexities and challenges small practices need to navigate to operate effectively, for their patients and business.
In 2012, I launched my own private practice and business in Tasmania and produced the popular video podcast Speechy TV. I achieved great success within a short time which I attribute to integrating my strong management skills, business knowledge and qualifications to create a clear business strategy, apply continuous improvement methods and linking with innovation and new technologies.
In 2015, I relocated my practice to Canberra, and applying the same business principles, I filled my books in less than 2 weeks and have a consistent waiting list. I now coach other private practice owners how to do the same; helping them apply practical systems to enable business sustainability and success.
I share my knowledge and experience of technology, innovation, marketing and communication to help increase efficiencies and profits whilst decreasing stress; allowing them to serve their clients with excellence and enjoy a more positive work-life balance.
Gail is based in the Canberra region and offers nationwide consultations in person and online. She can work with you and your therapy team at your home, school or workplace to help you achieve your goals.
